I cry for you Tibet
(Poetry)
By Tenzin Gelek

I cry for you Tibet…
I cry for you, i cry with you.
While you burn in agony
Your sons chase dollars.
I see that you are crying for your sons,
But your sons go where the money runs.
I assume you are waiting that we fight for you
But Oh! The future doesn’t seem too bright for you.

Cry your tears dry,
And pray till the snows turn black.
In fire of agony and suffering
you seem to head into the fire from the pan.

I am one of your sons.
Do I deserve to be called one?
We seem to betray you.
Have you given up on us?

A few say it's early a few say it's late
Truth is our weapon, hope our companion,
One day I will surely die for you
Till then I can only cry for you …
I can only cry for you......Tibet.
