Tibetan World
has completed its third year with effect from July 6, 2007. For Tibetan World, it has been an arduous journey, which perhaps might not have been possible without the untiring and relentless efforts of the TW Family.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our
readers and volunteers for their great support without
which we would not have been able to survive thus far.
Like always, we at the Tibetan World would welcome all our enthusiastic readers, subscribers, friends and well-wishers into this journey of correspondence, interaction and cooperation.
We look forward to any feedbacks, suggestions or even criticisms from our well-wishers in order to make our effort worthwhile. |

The world today has become a smaller
place than what it used to be a few centuries back. And technology
has made this world a small close-knitted family. The access to
information is now much easier and conceivable than ever before.
It is here that, Tibetan World opens up unlimited possibilities and opportunities for the younger Tibetan generation, to speak out and express their ideas.
Tibetan World is a project
that had its beginnings in May 2004 and the first issue saw
its birth on 6 July 2004. Tibetan World has been conceived with the motive to engage Tibetan people (especially the youngsters) in a meaningful dialogue on what entails being a Tibetan. We aim to bring up all the aspects of Tibetan society in open and bring together people from all walks of life, for greater awareness and interaction amongst the Tibetans from all walks of life. This would involve all aspects of living in a society, right from the essentials of:
Education
Political understanding
Entertainment
Social
Cultural and
Economic affairs |

• To bring about a more informed Tibetan citizenry
• To provide a platform for Tibetan artistes, writers, thinkers and common people to engage in a free and fair exchange and airing of views, opinions and information.
• To generate self employment and promote spirit of entrepreneurship amongst the Tibetan youth and society. |
